AIM MyChron 5 2T

The AiM MyChron5S 2T has a high-resolution graphical display for the indication of rpm, speed,lap times, gear, temperature (one or two with the MC5S 2T), satellite reception and the data from the connected expansions as the lambda or MC-Expansion. It is possible to configure several display pages free and to select them over the 4 buttons. The display-illumination can be set in 7 different colors and the brightness is controlled by a light-sensor

The Speed is gathered over the integrated GPS-Module, indicated on the display and can later with further GPS-channels, e.g. driven line, acceleration… be analyzed on the PC. The screwed on Lithium battery supplies the MyChron5 ten hours with power and can then be either charged or swapped. It also can be supplied by an external battery.

MyChron 5S 2T has two in seven various colors configurable Alarm-LEDs and 5 Shift-LEDs. Both Alarm LEDs can be assigned to every arbitrary measurement and shift-LEDs can be set sequentially, in full group and gear-selective. Over the WiFi-Connection the configurations can be transferred, the data downloaded or the measurements online checked.

All sensors and cables from the MyChron4, as also MyChron- Expansion, Lambda-system and SmartyCam can also be used on the MyChron5

Two temperatures under your control

Especially engineered for the most demanding racers, MyChron 5S 2T permits you to monitor your kart performances by controlling two engine temperatures instead of one. MyChron 5S 2T samples data related to two temperatures coming from:

Two thermoresistors: to measure the engines's working temperature

One thermocouple and one thermoresistor: to monitor the key parameters of your engine   

Choose optimal layout for your data

Lap and split times, best lap, RPM, gear number, track map and much more are shown in pre-configured pages: you will be able to choose the page layout you prefer to better monitor your data.

At the end of your session, you can recall the summary of your three best laps: lap time, max/min RPM, speed and temperature. For your best lap, you will also see splits and best theoretical time

At the end of each session, your data can be downloaded and analyzed in depth on your PC with Race Studio 3 software: charts, graphics and histograms will help you to understand your performance, finding out what needs to be improved.
